Blue Shield’s Q3 2026 rate book is now available and third quarter rate action is a statewide average of 3.6%. Quarterly rate action and rates including closed rate books can be found on Broker Connection.

Groups with renewal dates in July, August, and September will now be accessible to brokers through the Shield Renewals system. Group-level changes can be made using the Employer Enrollment Tool.

Groups with renewal dates in July, August, and September will now be accessible to brokers through the Shield Renewals system. Group-level changes can be made using the Employer Enrollment Tool on the following dates:
•    July renewals: Changes can be made starting April 8
•    August renewals: Changes can be made starting May 3
•    September renewals: Changes can be made starting June 3 Please note that dates are subject to change.
