Blue Shield shared some helpful resources about the deadlines that are fast approaching for two important employer surveys. The Annual Medical Loss Ratio employer survey and Rx healthcare spending survey. They provide brief overviews with links for further information.

Then Annual Medical Loss Ratio
•    Groups with fewer than 150 employees are requested to provide group size information by the submission deadline of March 31, 2026.
•    Encourage your clients to submit information via the online survey, accessed by using the group ID and the web key: #44n50c
•    Employer groups also have the option to submit information by completing the print survey form and faxing to (855) 895-3497.

Rx healthcare spending survey
•    Please see the original alert for full details and tips on preparing submissions.
•    The deadline to submit information is April 10, 2026, however any updates to completed submissions can be made until April 19, 2026.
•    Groups or their brokers with access to an Employer Connection account are encouraged to complete the survey by logging into Employer Connection.
•    Groups or their brokers without access to an Employer Connection account can submit information via the Prescription Drug & Healthcare Spending Survey using their Group ID and the web key: #26yr25
•    Groups that miss the deadline may be subject to non-compliance if they do not report the required data to the Centers for Medicare and Medicaid (CMS).
