Sell new Aetna Small Group fully insured and Aetna Funding Advantage business plans to groups in California with 1-100 eligible employees. When you do you'll be eligible to earn additional producer credits. Nippon Life Insurance Company of America is refunding a portion of health insurance premiums based on the calendar year 2022-time period. This rebate is required by the Affordable Care Act. The Affordable Care Act requires carriers to refund part of the premiums received if they do not spend a minimum percentage (85% Large Groups) of premiums received on healthcare services, such as doctors and hospital bills, and activities to improve healthcare quality, such as wellness programs. The rebate will be in the form of a premium credit and will appear on the September 2023 premium statement. Cigna to launch a new personalized digital health platform. The new platform will be available through the myCigna portal, and allows users to set their personal health goals and track daily progress. They can then receive real-time feedback and guidance that's based on the data they've submitted, according to an announcement. The tool will be offered to nearly 11 million members, Cigna said. "Digital health programs improve health outcomes and enhance vitality for individuals and their communities," said Heather Dlugolenski, senior vice president of commercial strategy and solutions at Cigna Healthcare, in the release. "For employers, investing in employee well-being directly translates into a more productive workforce and a thriving business.
