Aetna is helping employers maximize their benefits budget with enhanced administrative credits for qualifying Small-Mid Size Business groups effective November 1, 2026 and later. Eligible sold cases submitted early, may result in significant first-year savings for employers, creating an additional opportunity to deliver value to your clients. Eligible groups can receive administrative credits of up to $450 per medical subscriber, $150 per dental subscriber, or as much as $600 per subscriber when medical and dental coverage are combined. The one-time credit is applied to the group's second Aetna invoice, helping reduce early plan costs and improve overall affordability. The program applies to qualifying groups with 1 to 100 employees and effective dates from February 1, 2026, - January 31, 2027. Health Net announced its decision to exit the California small and large group market. Coverage is expected to end February 28th, 2027. This includes the closure of all California group plans, including: • California Small Business and Large Group Medical Plans Health Net has made the decision to exit the traditional commercial group business in California in order to focus on its core business of government-sponsored healthcare. This change does not impact the Medi-Cal, Marketplace/Covered California or Medicare lines of business . A formal notice has been sent to employer groups via USPS, and they should receive it in the coming days. In many cases, policies will last through the existing policy period. Employers will receive notice of their specific coverage end date in their formal notice.
